Bio

I am a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design, Toronto, Canada and have been an illustrator for more than 10 years. I have extensive experience in the educational publishing sector and have also created art for many magazines, books, some packaging, posters, t-shirts and a tv commercial. My clients are located in Canada, the United States and UK.
My technique is digital lino-cut colourized in Photoshop. It might seem crazy to continue carving lino in a digital age but I like the resulting quality of line and enjoy combining ancient and modern technologies. After all these years of carving I'm very fast and have no problem meeting tight deadlines.
I started out as a designer, taking up printmaking for a new creative challenge and feel very fortunate to earn a living doing what I love most. I particularly enjoy myths and legends and have illustrated many folktales from around the world. When not in my studio having fun I pursue my passion for politics, opera, yoga and cycling.
