Shawna recieved her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Illustration from Brigham Young University. She has studied with many great illustrators such as Robert Barrett, Richard Hull, Bethanne Anderson, Perry Stewart, Douglas Fryer and Howard Fullmer. Shawna is currently a member of the SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators) and lives in West Jordan, Utah with her husband,Warren, and daughters Cassidy and Madeline.
