Sandie Turchyn is a native of Southern California. Early in life she won the prestigious “Promising Young Artist Award” from the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts. She trained at the California Institute of the Arts and Art Center College of Design, emerging with a unique artistic vision that has inspired her to create works both whimsical and profound. A professional illustrator for over a decade, Turchyn's work has been used by book publishers, newspapers, magazines and on textiles.
