Bio

Nancy DesRosiers and Bee in a Bottle Illustration, an illustration and design studio have been in the Red Lodge area for over eight years. At Boston University's School of Fine Art she studied the basics of color theory and the painting techniques of the Old Masters. In 1993 she earned her B.F.A. at the Massachusetts College of Art in a highly competitive, creative, cutting-edge and commercially driven atmosphere.

Currently her favorite mediums include brush and India ink, oil pastels and mixed media combining digital work.

Highlights of her local projects include an educational poster titled, Birds of Yellowstone Park, logos for Moose Trails Playground and People for Playgrounds, the Red Lodge Farmer’s Market logo, the Red Lodge specialty license plate, the first Red Lodge Christmas Stroll poster and the Red Lodge Lions Club convention pin design.

Nancy’s work with young people has included teaching art classes at the local Boys and Girls Club and Carbon County Arts Guild, tutoring water color and color theory and participating in the Roberts Art Days.
