Kate Woodle received a BFA from Syracuse University with a major in Metalsmithing. Kate started her career as a jeweler and batik artist selling her work at major craft shows throughout the Northeast. For the last 20 years, Kate has held the position of exhibit artist at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo where she takes care of all the Zoo's artistic needs. She is responsible for design, illustration and layout for signs and brochures, paints murals, and illustrates the bi-monthly issues of "Tracks" and "Little Tracks", the Zoo's newsletters.
