Bio

Cristina Acosta is painter, writer and designer receiving national acclaim for her artwork. Born in Los Angeles, Acosta earned her BFA in Painting from the University of Oregon in 1988 and resides in Bend, Oregon.
Her artistry is featured in a variety of books and magazines, including her successful art book, Paint Happy! She illustrated the children’s book, When Woman Became the Sea, and contributed to many other books and periodicals including Artist Magazine, Better Homes and Gardens, House Beautiful, Latina magazine, Good Housekeeping, and Woman’s Day home design publications. Museums, galleries and collectors nationwide exhibit or collect her work.
