Bio

Edna Cabcabin Moran is an illustrator and writer in Northern CA. Her work has appeared on magazines, books, posters and other places. Her picture book, THE SLEEPING GIANT: A Tale from Kaua'i, was recently released by BeachHouse Publishing.

Notable recognition and awards include the Writers Digest 2006 Competition Honorable Mention in Rhyming Poetry, the 1996 Northern CA Gold Addy, Alameda Country Health Through Arts Outdoor Media Campaign and Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles 2001 Illustration Merit. Edna is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and scholarship participant at the 2005 Highlights Childrens Writer Conference at Chautauqua.
