Jennifer Emery lives and works in a tiny apartment in Minneapolis, Minnesota. When she’s not illustrating messy-haired, barefoot children, she can be found sipping a fresh cup of coffee, re-reading her favorite books or roaming the neighborhood with her border collie, Butler. She works primarily in water color and has illustrated eight children’s books so far along with countless educational materials.
Jennifer earned her BFA in illustration at the Columbus College of Art and Design in 1999.
She is a proud member of the Picture Book Artists Association and SCBWI.
