Known for his high-energy, retro-inspired illustration style, Bob Staake's designs appear in everything from books to magazines, animation to greeting cards, advertising to newspapers, cereal boxes to CD-ROM games.

He has authored and/or illustrated over 50 books, including 'Hello, Robots!' (Viking), 'The Red Lemon' (Random House), 'The Orb of Chatham' (Commonwealth Editions) and 'Sputter, Sputter, Sput' (HarperCollins).
