- Bio
I started out in freelance illustration being a jack-of-all-trades. It wasn't until the adoption of my son and trying to put his story into picture book form that I got hooked on illustrating for chlldren. Seeing the world through the eyes of a child is like having a second chance at innocence and wonder. I try to incorporate that sense into my painting through the use of my color, technique and penchant for absurd humor. I am also the coordinator/rep for the Illustrators Network in Illinois for SCBWI.
