I always thought about my purpose in life and using my creativity has enabled me to leave something behind that art lovers and children will enjoy for years to come. It makes everyday a new and wonderful journey and I am ready for the ride.
Born and raised in Ontario Canada, I learned about art at an early age from my Dad. He used to paint outdoor scenes, weld sculptures in metal and I always seemed to follow him around the garage and the backyard while he created wonderful things.
Never sticking to just one form, I create various art in various mediums. I paint murals in children’s rooms, carve wood stumps, paint commissioned canvasses, host craft sessions with children and am currently illustrating several children’s books and articles. What a thrill!
I have completed several commissioned paintings and wall murals and have started to do these cute little canvas’ using mixed media including collage. I add photos that I alter from clients. It is fun and I love seeing their reactions when they get their work..

| juanamartinezneal | me@juanamartinezneal.com | Bio | Juana was born in Lima, Peru. At an early age, she discovered her love for art and drawing. Daddy and grampa were ecstatic. Their artistic genes were passed on for another generation!
With nothing but her passion for Hello Kitty and her own two hands, she attended the Fine Arts School at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
With a leap of faith, she moved to the United States in 1995. Then in 2000, she met a young man who enjoyed watching cartoons, too. They married a couple of years later.
Juana now lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her husband Chris, their two young boys, and Mr. Snaggle-Tooth Kitty. They all watch cartoons together. |
