I've been drawing since I can remember, but the love for children's books didn't hit me until just a few years ago. After years of pursuing the wrong field, I finally discovered that illustration was where my true passion was. In college I took the children's book class and immediately found a love for the industry. Once I immersed myself in the world, I was astounded at how many beautifully illustrated books there were out there, and it was inspiring. Since graduating in 2005, I've continued pursuing the filed, and have done a few commissioned pieces. I have a few book ideas of my own that I'd like to see published one day, and I am continuing to update my portfolio with newer pieces.
