Bio

Cheryl has illustrated over 20 books, focusing on multicultural and historic themes. Her files overflow with research from stories for publishers such as Scholastic and Harcourt, including Japanese, Korean, and Chinese folktales, immigrant stories (from Ellis to Angel Islands) and many more. She graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, where she now teaches and advises for the CE Children’s Book certificate program.
