As long as I can remember, I was always drawing or creating something. So it was a natural choice to follow my passion and enter the world of commercial art. I have been fortunate to spend most of my art career freelancing, as I am SO NOT a morning person and have been known to put in 16 straight hours on whatever project is on my drawing table, once I find my flow. I've worked as a designer, product developer and illustrator, freelancing for some incredible clients in the publishing, gift, toy, apparel, confectionery, home decor and notions industries. But I've always collected children's books, so it is nice to be back doing what I really enjoy doing...illustrating books for children. Watch for 2 new picture books from me in early 2009.
