Production Guidelines

General Guidelines

• Picturebook is printed on offset sheet-fed presses to CMYK SWOP standards with a maximum density of 320, the line screen is 175.
• Art should be professional quality, high resolution art at final size and 300 dpi, CMYK color space.

1/4 Page ad

• size is 3.75"W x 5"H
• art should contain all elements in one file as tif, eps, psd or pdf with crop marks to indicate placement on page

1/2 Page ad

• size is 7.5 "W x 5"H
• art should contain all elements in one file as tif, eps, psd or pdf with crop marks to indicate placement on page

Full page

• The trim size is 8 1/2" x 11", bleed should be .25" on all sides, live elements should be kept .125" away from trim size
• If art is submitted as one complete file such as tif, eps, psd or pdf file crop marks must be added to indicate placement
• Page layout programs such as InDesign and Quark are also accepted (only for full page ads) all supporting files and fonts must be included.
• 1 free color image output and proof is included with each page.
